The concept for this retail store was inspired by the Viennese Secession, one of Manolo’s key influences in the design of both his women’s and men’s collections.

A significant part of this process involved material experimentation in order to find the right material to create an intricate perforated facade made of countless various sized dot perforations, from initially 3D modeling the concept to communicating with local manufacturers in the USA who understood local permits and regulations, to finally having prototypes shipped to London to ensure product quality.

It was also essential to extend the design language expressed on the façade into the interior, maintaining a restrained colour palette while reflecting the concept through beautiful geometry.
